– The Sovereignty of God –
Introduction: Why preach the gospel when God will save those who has predestined? This is a common question proceeding from those who do not understand God's compassion for His people.
Missions & the Sovereignty of God
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Mat 28:19).
God predestines those who would come to be saved.
“Having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will” (Eph 1:11 ).
“Whoever will call upon the Name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).
“How then will they call....How will they believe.. How will they hear... How will they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10:14-15). => Bible Study Questions

God has ordained the means by which His people are saved, that is, through the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To despise the means is to despise the command of God and to lack compassion on man, without which they will perish. We must wholeheartedly work with God’s high purposes of praying for and financially supporting God’s marvelous redemptive plan.
“Then the sovereignty, the dominion, and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him” (Daniel 7:27).
“... Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first-born of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us, and released us from our sins by His blood, 6 and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father; to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen” (Revelation 1:5-6).
“And raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6-7).
The Kingdom of God
Summary
God has chosen to bestow the wonderful blessings of His love and life upon the church. They will share an incomprehensibly glorious position in the future, co-reigning with Christ.
Though we hardly can comprehend such wonders, they are to encourage us to be faithful stewards of all that God has given to us here on earth during this time.
