“I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Romans 12:1-2)

Purpose

This new series, Building Blocks, attempts to capture the essential truths for Christian growth, including both an identification and explanation of each significant block.

The modern culture has been able to weasel its way in between the cracks of the believers’ faith by craftily going unaware or by new terms. When asked for a clarification of the believer’s faith or stance on various positions, he or she often cannot understand what they believe. Without identification, compromise becomes that much more dangerous. We need to go back to the building blocks or DNA of our living faith to properly understand and counter the false thoughts swarming about us today.

As we are just beginning, we have yet to provide a deeper analysis of the gathered truths. Just like the study of DNA, we need to identify a good number of factors before beginning any analysis. By God’s grace, in time, that point will be reached.

We hope to capture stimulating truths in shorter segments–on video and audio–and thus to identify a certain block of truth.
