• Memory Verses 1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God‘s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
• Develop a prayerful attentiveness
Each day this week ask God to reveal to you the needs of those around you. God uses all sorts of means to reveal things to us such as circumstances, phone calls, news, Bible readings, etc. Record them and bring the list next week. Say a prayer for each of these needs and follow up any concrete way God leads.
• Develop an evangelism lifestyle
Learning compassion and helping people is fine, but we must remember that without hearing the Gospel of Jesus, people will still perish.
(1) Review your testimony on how God saved you.
(2) Go over the Gospel using the chart earlier on (or another).
(3) Ask God for an opportunity to share the Gospel with one person.
(4) Tell the Gospel to this one person this week if possible.
(5) Share your experience with someone.
By evangelism lifestyle, you should always be sensitive with whom the Lord would prompt you to share His Gospel.
Progress on projects should be recorded in a spiritual journal of some type.
A strategic basic discipleship series designed to help Christians grow not only in their relationship with God but also with other people. Each section uses a familiar relationship to bring out basic but very practical Biblical teaching.
We highly recommend getting the BFF Discipleship #1 Digital Library which not only includes the Relationship Discipleship book, but slides, summaries, user guide, teacher's reference, etc. This D#1 Library also contains all our other Christian training resources for new believers.
These Christian media-enriched resources can also be purchased in the BFF Resource Center.
