Positioning ourselves at the Lord’s feet

We can grasp the Lord’s teaching only when we are wholly depending on God’s Spirit teaching us.

As teachers we need to be dependent upon the Lord in two areas:

1) As a teacher we teach, protect, lead and enable others according to how the Holy Spirit leads us.

2) As the Spirit’s student we seek to first have His work accomplished in us and then through His aid in the lives of the listeners.

“A pupil is not above his teacher; but everyone, after he has been fully trained, will be like his teacher” (Luke 6:40).

From a simple seed placed in some dirty mud, God can raise up a beautiful flower.

Awed by God’s Presence

The teacher is humbled before the Lord knowing he teaches the Lord’s truth by the Lord’s power for the Lord’s glory. He is but a servant. He gives only what the Lord gives him.
