Living fulfilled before God

We are confident in the full and rich life God’s Word provides us.

Paul uses the word ‘perfect’ or completed in Colossians to describe the fulfilled nature of the Christian life.

And we proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, that we may present every man complete in Christ. (Colossians 1:28).

Completing the lesson is not the goal of the lesson.

Teaching the lesson is more like a tunnel through which student and teacher alike are led to larger chambers leading to God’s glorious throne. The tunnel (lesson) might be forgotten because it is only a means. The point of the lesson, however, is meeting God in some special way.

Learning Conscious

The teacher instructs under the influence of a greater vision.
He is growing each day under the Spirit’s tutorship. He has not become The Teacher. He is a learning disciple.
