"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33).

Speaks of calmness of soul amidst difficult circumstances. #2 |
"There is no peace for the wicked," says the LORD." (Isaiah 48:22).

Speaks of both #1 and #2. No relationship with God brings turmoil. |
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7).

Speaks of the peace of the soul. #2 |
"Yet if the unbelieving one leaves, let him leave; the brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us to peace." (1 Corinthians 7:15). |
Speaks of relationship with God and others. #1 |
"Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ," (Romans 5:1).

"Therefore say, 'Behold, I give him My covenant of peace;" (Numbers 25:12).
