From what we hear from the media, the church is about expired. This is what the evil one would want us to believe.
The reason? So we would give up on our faith and especially so that we will not put our efforts in spreading the Gospel. Satan’s deceitful point goes like this, “If people are giving up their faith, then there is something better. So we ought to find out what that better belief is. Certainly it is not Christianity.”
We need a reality check. Let us see what the scriptures actually do teach and what really is happening. We will get a completely different story, one that will motivate us to put our extra energies into His great work!
(1) A Biblical Perspective - Parable of Mustard Seed
"31 He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; 32 and this is smaller than all other seeds; but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches” (Matthew 13:31-32).
(2) A Global Perspective
“But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase” (Daniel 12:4).
