Behind many worries and fears is death. No one likes to admit this because they do not have any way of handling death and its fears.

Dear Father, we desire that a great passion to serve you and others would fill our lives. We want nothing, whether it be our possessions or our lives, to hinder us in the dedication of our lives to you and your kingdom. Let your kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth even as it is in heaven. Jesus Christ, you have overcome death and its fear. Now the grave stands before you like an open gate. Let your overcoming spirit rule our lives right into eternity so that we might give great praise and glory to your holy Name. In Christ's Name I pray, Amen.
