They exchanged the truth for something they desired more. They had their grasp on what was good, but they let go of that grasp. They swapped for what they liked more. They thought that once they put this knowledge of truth away, that God himself would be put away, but this was not true. The greater the truth that is rejected, the bigger that the lie must get.
