God's plans
overrule ours
|
God's plans
are intricate
|
Our plans
need correction
|
Our plans
are purposed
|
1 The plans of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.
|
2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own sight,
But the LORD weighs the motives.
|
3 Commit your works to the LORD,
And your plans will be established.
|
4 The LORD has made everything for its own purpose,
Even the wicked for the day of evil."
|
Be willing for our plans to be disturbed. |
Be open for impurity in our motives. |
Give our plans to the Lord to decide what to do. |
Seek God's purpose for our lives |
When God changes the plans for my life, I will respond in surprise , gratefulness and delight for protecting me and providing something better. |
When the Lord upsets my plans, I will respond with careful attention to His teachings that any heart impurities might be purged. |
When I perceive I have any definite plans for my life, I will respond by promptly giving them to the Lord so that His greatest plan for my life might be accomplished. |
When circumstances seem nasty or pleasant, I will respond by discerning and delighting in God's purpose. |
