Path of Reform or the Path of Repentance.
These options have everything to do with where one will end up. This diagram below emphasizes this very point.

but they are very different and have opposite outcomes.

Option #1 Path of Reform		STAY SAME

Option #2 Path of Repentance		MADE NEW
"I need to change. I'm wrecking my life. I'm destroying those I love and am fighting God. I want God to change me so that I am no longer driven by these evil desires in me."		"... repentance without regret, [leading] to salvation..."
