Discipleship & Training
The Life Core
Discovering the Heart of Great Training
Discover a biblical framework that joins the life-giving work of God with the stages of spiritual growth, helping believers, leaders, and churches train people toward Christlike maturity.
Recovering the Church’s Vitality
The Life Core identifies underlying causes of stagnation in the Christian church and proposes practical ways to integrate God’s life into discipleship and leadership training. Effective training passes on a vision of the Lord, His work, and His church in a way that invigorates God’s people by the Holy Spirit to carry out His will.
The framework brings together two complementary pictures. The Life Analogy emphasizes the source, power, and expression of spiritual life. The Growth Analogy clarifies the stages through which believers develop—from new life to strength, maturity, and responsibility for others. Together they provide a clear and adaptable approach for churches, families, mentors, and training institutions.

Two Analogies, One Training Vision
- Life: spiritual growth begins and continues through God’s life and the Holy Spirit’s work.
- Growth: believers have different needs and responsibilities at different stages of maturity.
- Training: truth, relationships, practice, and responsibility should work together toward whole-life transformation.
