Pray BFF#30             August 29, 2002

Dear Prayer Team,

What a difference!

Keep up those faithful prayers! We can see how God is especially blessing BFF by high readership, helpful materials, abundant ideas and most of all ministry to people. Below is a note from Brenda in Mexico ( used with permission). She originally wrote to ask how she could more easily download the whole 'Overcoming Anxiety: Finding Peace, Discovering God' seminar because she found it so helpful. I share this so we can pray for her and be encouraged by her testimony.

"And yes, I lost my life, I wonder why. It began in 1994. I dont know if that
was from God or the evil one. Some people say someone wanted to destroy my
life. (A person maybe).

U know? I really dont want to find out. All I know is that now I have new
life and that I am really protected. The evil one and his angels cant really
touch me.

The One that is with me is GREATER than the one that is in the world. I
really DONT CARE AT ALL...

Prayer is my weapon since my enemies (real ones) are spiritual. I pray for
the ones that want to destroy me. (people).
I pray for and against all the evil work that was in my life since 1994.
Prayer destroy devil´s schemes.

THIS IS MY PRESCRIPTION:

BELIEVE GOD
HAVE FAITH IN HIM
CONFESS YOUR SINS TO HIM AND TO OTHERS
FORGIVE AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS
KEEP PRAYING FOR THE ONES THAT WANT TO DESTROY YOU (THAT IS TO DESTROY THEIR WORKS ON YOU)
KEEP STUDYING GOD´S WORD

Several key pages for the advanced discipleship curriculum are almost complete. Thanks to God for His leading and help.

Thanks for good conversations with individuals in the past weeks.

High readership continues. Give praise to God!

We are thankful for completing the series on 'Detecting Error Within and Without the Community of God's People.'

Paul's Mom is feeling much better.

Praise God Linda's asthma has been very much improved (and this is her worst season).

The materials still haven't arrived in India! Please pray that they would safely arrive soon.

May God give special grace for the development of the advanced discipleship materials.

Elizabeth asks prayer for the safe arrival of her art work and other stuff at college in Florida.

Pray that God's Spirit would genuinely help the broken-hearted and edify each reader.

Pray for Brenda in Mexico that God would continue to heal her and mightily use her.

Pray for Kathryn, our six year old girl, that she might not have flare ups of her asthma and would be healed.
